Browsing B&N and found Donald Trump titles on nearly every shelf at front of store. President Trump is a hot topic, and makes good reading.
Don’t judge a book by its cover
Only perused the book titles and not their content. I am lacking confidence that all of the books on the shelf are praise worthy of the President. However, he is inspiring countless authors, photographers, political analysts, and pundits to fill white pages bigly with photographs, typography, and cartoons.
Buy a Trump book – fan book or not?
I snapped photos as I strolled the many Trump titles on the shelf. You might want to order a book or two.
I merely snapped photos of books on the shelves and did not peruse magazine racks, the Nook corner, or to search their data base catalog for publications with Trump as subject.
Looking at the books on the shelves of B&N, we can say that authors and photographers and cartoonist are doing well in the Trump economy.
Consider publisher’s point of view
Even more important than the revenue stream for these literary giants is the larger benefit of publishing compiled thoughts and images. It’s good to get Trump off their chest and onto the printed page.
When you read a non-fiction book or article, consider the point of view and who is shaping it before adding books to your library.
Join the Trump train and write a book
Looks like a book written about Trump is a publisher’s $dream. Maybe you could write a book about Trump or draw some insightful cartoons to inspire a nation.
When you publish a book, you put a part of yourself on the pages and you present your ideas and images to others for dialogue.
This freedom of speech and discourse are at the heart of freedom and what keeps America great.
Listening to candidate Trump on the campaign trail, I grabbed onto his idealism and hung onto his positive self view and unrivaled sense of well-being. Why not add those formidable characteristics to my playbook, I thought …. all things considered, they have served Prez Trump well.
Take some plays from the Trump playbook
Trump: I say what I say
Say what you are thinking and strive for straightforward communication. Often I may wish that President Donald Trump was less direct in his opinions and attacks and have hoped with fingers crossed that he would backtrack, but softening his rhetoric or changing his opinion mid-course never seems to come. I no longer wish-for or wait-for a retraction because Trump “says what he says.”
In one sense this non-filtered form of speech lacking in jabber talk, lawyerese, political jumbo, and double talk, is refreshing.
Trump: I have a brain
Don’t we all … so stop apologizing for not being smart if you fall prey to self loathing. Have the confidence and courage to make your own decisions and chart your own course.
Trump:I had very, very good parents
Speak lovingly and with pride about your parents. Trump does. He may be one of the lucky ones who had perfect parents but possibly The Donald is rather a son who holds a high regard for his parents because he is respectful and loving. Be the person who sees the best in others.
Trump: I am very, very rich – richer than most people think
Not everyone can add the status of wealth to their playbook unless you count the immeasurable wealth your loved ones and family bring to your bottom line. And for those who are heirs of the King of Kings, streets of gold, pure as glass are waiting them.
Trump: It’s going to be huuuugggge
Think big. Add a few more comparatives and superlatives to your vocabulary. Two of Trump’s favorites, huge and bigly. And something is not just good or very good. It’s very, very, very good. Bigly: adverb: “It’s going to happen bigly.” -Donald J. Trump
Trump: Make America Great Again
That hope resonates with me. I jumped aboard Trump’s boat [yacht] and have set sail for a period of idealism with hopes that as a nation we will strengthen our union.
Trump says he started a movement to Make America Great Again, but it is the American people who will write the future. We must dream big and set goals for a future we envision. Trump will be at the front running interference, but we are the ones to write the future.
Trump’s Tweets make headlines
Just when Twitter was losing its star power, along came the gift of Donald J. Trump and a barrage of information, 140 characters at a time, leaving ripples into the future.

Cheers for Trump’s positive energy
You cannot deny the good fortune of having a President who strives for honest, straightforward, energetic, and patriotic dialogue. His slogan, Make America Great Again, resonated with people on the campaign trail because we dream of living in a world where someone is looking out for us, who wants the best for us, and who speaks to us as a friend.
I look forward to the inspiring and creative leadership of POTUS Donald Trump.
I have a page of Quotes that will no doubt fill quickly in 2017, thanks to a President who is dreaming a dream for us and who — says what he says. Buckle up.
